When United unveiled its new livery in April 2019, it was featured on only one Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Just a few weeks later, that 737 made its debut at Pittsburgh International Airport. The updated design features a larger tail logo, three new shades of blue and the words “Connecting people. Uniting the world” near the plane’s nose. (You can view a photo gallery of the plane’s first arrival at PIT in 2019 here.)

Fast forward nearly four years later, and many more United planes are sporting the new livery. According to aviation website United Fleet Website, 378 of the airline’s 872 planes, or more than 43 percent of its fleet, now wear the new livery as of April 16, 2023.

Among United’s fleet types wearing the new look include the Boeing 757-200, of which the airline operates 40. Ryan McManus caught one of United’s 757s in the new livery during a recent trip to the airline’s Washington Dulles International Airport hub. We think United’s 757s look sharp in this scheme!
