Trolls are arriving at Pittsburgh International Airport.

No, not the fairy-tale monsters. These trolls are cute, colorful and displayed on the side of a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 aircraft. The airline’s iconic blue body was painted with vibrant pinks, yellows and jewel tones in celebration of the next installment in the Trolls movie franchise: Trolls Band Together.

The airline has partnered with DreamWorks Animation to create this eye-catching Trolls livery, which our reader Paul Ward was lucky enough to capture during its stop at PIT. This version of Southwest’s aircraft will keep flying until the film is released on Nov. 17, but it won’t be the last unique livery at PIT. Aviation enthusiasts should keep an eye out for themed aircrafts that may be stopping by the airport soon!

David Greiner didn’t take off from PIT in the Trolls aircraft, but he did manage to snap this sunny picture over the city. While most of Pittsburgh is canopied in greens and blues all spring and summer, Acrisure Stadium’s bright yellow seats never fail to stand out, no matter what vantage point you see the city from.

Thanks, Paul and David!

Our readers continue to pass along shots of unique aircraft, international airports, historical events, gorgeous views and even family vacation photos for this feature. We love them! Keep them coming—you can click here for submission guidelines.
