Bill Schumacher grew up at Pittsburgh International Airport — his dad worked at PIT for 30-plus years on a number of projects with Wellington Power Corporation.

Bill followed in his dad’s footsteps as an IBEW Local Union #5 electrician and is now helping build PIT’s new terminal.

“I feel very privileged to be part of this project, something of this size that’s being built locally,” said Schumacher.

Just as Bill’s dad showed him all the projects he worked on, Bill is looking forward to the day he can bring his kids to the new terminal and show them what he worked on.
