Photos of the Week: Sea Plane Views

Imagine flying over a large body of water in a sea plane from Key West.

Phil Kocher captured this beautiful photo of Fort Jefferson at Dry Tortugas National Park, located 70 miles west of Key West, surrounded by stunning, crystal-clear waters.

For those enticed by this breathtaking scene, Pittsburgh International Airport offers low-cost and nonstop flights to Key West through Allegiant. Visitors can access Dry Tortugas National Park via seaplane or ferry from Key West.

Our second photo was taken by Nolan Merulli, who snapped a photo of a Southwest Boeing 737-700. Merulli was able to capture this compelling image from underneath the aircraft, focusing on the heart of the plane.

The bold colors of the Southwest — blue, silver, yellow and red — make a striking statement in the sky.
