We know when that airline bling, that can only mean one thing: Drake’s in town.
Pittsburgh recently hosted the global superstar rapper as he performed two shows during his current tour. And if you didn’t know he was here, one look out on the ramp at Pittsburgh International Airport was all you needed.
“Air Drake,” the Canadian entertainer’s customized Boeing 767, delivered him to and from Western Pennsylvania in comfort and style. If you’re one of his 146 million Instagram followers, you’ve caught glimpses of the interior over the years. For neophytes, here’s a quick rundown of the amenities:
- Three private suites (one with a king-sized bed), two living rooms and a bathroom with a shower.
- A business lounge, an entertainment room and a theater room with flat-screen TVs and several leather recliners.
- An interior featuring velvet couches, gold and wood surfaces, striped carpeting and beige and lavender furniture.
The exterior features a livery designed by late Louis Vuitton creative director Virgil Abloh and the words “Air Drake,” as well as the logo for Drake’s company.
And if you ever see it flying overhead, you’ll read “If you’re reading this we left” on the bottom of the fuselage, a clever reference to Drake’s 2015 mixtape, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.”
Of course, very few people get the opportunity to go for a ride on Drake’s $200 million jet. You’re more likely to end up on, say, a Delta Boeing 757. Bailey Noel is a big fan of them, as you can see.
After all, they love to fly, and it shows.
Thanks, Bailey!
