Aviation creates great photo opportunities, especially when fireworks light up the sky.

Bailey Noel captured this beautiful photo at EAA AirVenture held at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. EAA AirVenture is one of the largest airshows in the world with over 600,000 people attending and 10,000 aircraft every July.

This year’s EAA AirVenture show, running from July 22-28, will feature a variety of civilian and military aircraft both flying and on the ground for display.

EAA AirVenture also hosts rare nighttime airshows and events for aviation enthusiasts in attendance. Bailey’s photo offers a stunning view of aircraft on the airfield as fireworks burst overhead.

During a recent flight to Pittsburgh, David Cannone skillfully captured a stunning aerial image of New York City. The photograph beautifully showcases the city’s impressive skyline, dominated by towering skyscrapers, with the Central Park Tower standing out as a prominent landmark.

For those interested in visiting New York from Pittsburgh, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Spirit Airlines each offer convenient and cost-effective non-stop flights to New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA).

Thank you, Bailey and David, for capturing these breathtaking photos during your travels!

Our readers continue to pass along shots of unique aircraft, international airports, historical events, gorgeous views, and even family vacation photos for this feature. We love them! Keep them coming — you can click here for submission guidelines.
