Mario and friends are taking flight to the Mushroom Kingdom … with JetBlue.
On March 4, JetBlue unveiled its latest specialty aircraft Cloudtop Cruiser to celebrate the carrier’s partnership with video game behemoth Nintendo.
Painted on an Airbus A320 with the registration N561JB, Cloudtop Cruiser pays tribute to Nintendo’s beloved Super Mario series. The colorful paint scheme features iconic characters including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Bowser. The livery also features the elusive Super Star power-ups that temporarily make all the Super Mario characters invincible.
But its not just the outside of the aircraft that expresses the fun of Super Mario world. On the inside, JetBlue has programmed Cloudtop Cruiser’s in-flight entertainment with special welcome screens of Mario greeting passengers when they board.

The addition of Cloudtop Cruiser expands JetBlue’s partnership with Nintendo, which last year included a Nintendo Switch On the Go pop-up and a Mario meet-and-greet at the airline’s New York-JFK hub. The partnership will bring more special activations for passengers throughout 2025, according to JetBlue.
Cloudtop Cruiser took to the clouds on March 5, operating flight B6570 from Fort Lauderdale to Boston, according to flight tracking site Flightradar24. The aircraft made additional visits to Sarasota and Denver on its first day in service.
Cloudtop Cruiser is the latest of many colorful special liveries throughout the JetBlue fleet. In February, JetBlue unveiled BlueUnity, an Airbus A321 celebrating the airline’s 25th anniversary. BlueUnity’s design represents the various frontline and operational workgroups that make up JetBlue’s 23,000 employees.
