The aviation industry is gearing up for the busy spring break travel season, and industry experts and travelers are hopeful the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us.

And there’s nothing like photos of airplanes with the backdrop of a blue sky to remind us of sunnier days ahead—preferably to a sunny location, whether it’s sunbathing or skiing. Airplanes are a gateway to adventure and that includes heading to France or Florida.

That was exactly the case for Devin R., who sent us this photo of an Air France Airbus A350-900 taken at Boston Logan International Airport in December.

Likewise for Patience Celender, who was flying from Pittsburgh to Orlando aboard Spirit in November. She snapped a shot of Spirit’s winglet en route to Florida with a beautiful blue backdrop.

Merci, Devin and Patience, for your submissions!

Our readers continue to pass along shots of unique aircraft, international airports, historical events, gorgeous views and even family vacation photos for this feature. We love them! Keep them coming—you can click here for submission guidelines.
