The airport’s sustainability and natural resources team is responsible for overseeing asset management, environmental compliance, wildlife hazard management, and other sustainability programs on more than 9,000 acres at Pittsburgh International and Allegheny County Airport.

PIT supports conservation and sustainability, year-round through various programs and community service activities with partners including 412 Food Rescue, the Montour Run Watershed Association, Montour Trail Council, and National Park Service (Plant a Tree at Flight 93), among others.
