What They’re Saying at PIT’s New Terminal Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Saturday’s ceremonial ribbon cutting included dignitaries, government officials, partners, community members and friends to celebrate the near completion of the new PIT terminal.

While many of the speakers have had the opportunity to see the airport throughout construction, others saw it for the first time. Here’s what they’re saying:

Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato

“I know that there are a lot of Pittsburghers who may question why we need a ‘new’ airport when they still refer to the current airport as the ‘new’ one.
