Our airport can do far more for Pittsburgh than move planes

With airport passenger traffic coming to a near halt during the pandemic, Pittsburgh International is finding new ways to serve its community.
The airport’s parking lots will be repurposed for one of the largest food distribution events ever in the region in partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Bank.
It’s assisting the aviation industry community by offering space on one of its runways and taxiways to airlines to safely park nearly 100 planes while flights are grounded
