In 2019, Alaska Airlines unveiled a custom livery for one of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft featuring the iconic group of friends from the “Toy Story” movies.

The paint job was a collaboration with Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., to promote Pixar Pier, a new segment of the theme park featuring “Toy Story” and other popular animated movies from Pixar Studios.

The plane now flies throughout Alaska’s route network, including to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in its namesake state.

That’s where Casper Wood caught up with the special aircraft that features Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear and other characters. We love the way the blue of the plane blends in with the clear skies and mountain ranges of The Last Frontier.

A little closer to home, Dave Cannone reminded us that Pennsylvania has plenty of natural beauty as well. He sent us this gorgeous photo looking out the window of a flight from Pittsburgh International Airport to Philadelphia International Airport.

It certainly feels like infinity and beyond.

Thanks, Casper and Dave!
