Since we rolled out the PIT Safe Travels program in May, Allegheny County Airport Authority staff and contractors have been hard at work making Pittsburgh International Airport as safe and hygienic as possible.

The COVID-19 pandemic may have changed some things in the terminals and our work processes, but it has not changed our No. 1 priority: the safety, security and health of passengers, staff and visitors.

We’ve rolled out quite a few new features at the airport—including robot UV scrubbers, social distancing decals, PPE vending machines and more—all focused on making the passenger journey as clean and safe as we can. Learn more about them in the graphic below.
