Once again, the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) made strides this year. CEO Christina Cassotis marked 10 years of leadership and was recognized as Pittsburgher of the Year by Pittsburgh Magazine. Pittsburgh International Airport and Allegheny County Airport received Balchen/Post Awards in recognition of the efforts they make with snow removal and keeping the nation’s air transportation network operational. The concessions program grew exponentially, and the air service team capped a successful year with the announcement that Aer Lingus is going to begin non-stop flights to Dublin.
